Happy Friday Y'all! I hope you are geared up for a great weekend! I have a pretty bland weekend planned...chilling at home and scrapping/spending time with the hubby! I have a lot of work due by Monday and I want to play along in a challenge, so I see myself sitting at my crafty desk quite a bit this weekend. But, that will be just as fun. Brandon mentioned a possible trip to the movies on Saturday, but we will see.
Anyways, I have a new post going up on the Helmar Blog today and I wanted to share my layout with you here as well. This layout features my favorite little man...my nephew, Carter. This is his first picture from pre-school taken last year. I just can't believe how much he has grown in a year. I know I say it all the time, but he is growing up way to fast for his Aunt Mamie!!! LOL

This page was really simple and really fast to create...all due to my wonderful Helmar Adhesives and sketch by Liz. I just adore her sketches! I didn't want to glam it up too much since it is a boy page.
I love these journaling die cuts and chipboard buttons from JBS! Yummy! And I too have fallen in love with the current twine craze sweeping the scrappy world. I had spotted it everyone from online to blogs to magazines and I had to scoop up some as well! It is really fun to use!
The red trim is from Maya Road and the white trim is from Jo Ann. To bring out the stars in the journaling die cut, I embossed the blue strip of paper with the 'Stars' embossing folder.
Oooh, and the banner stickers from JBS...another fave!
Well, that is all for me today. I am off to scrap! I hope you all have a spectacular weekend!
Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope to see you again soon!
Happy Scrappin'!
Hugs!
