Happy Saturday Everyone! I hope you are having a awesome weekend! I have been scrappin' up a storm and wanted to share what I had accomplished with you guys. I made some cards. The first 2 I made last night and this morning. Then, I was sitting at my desk thinking about my next card, I look up and it hit me...I did 2 fruit cards in a row! I must be in the mood to eat some fruit! LOL!
Anyways, this first card was inspired by the current challenge over at She's A Sassy Lady. Sheila hosts 'Gypsy Made Simple' each Saturday and is always sharing new tips with us. I just love her videos! This week she showed us how to make borders using our Cricut Gypsy. If you would like to check out the video and play along with us, go HERE. Sheila showed us 2 way to make borders. You can choose to make your own using shapes on your Cricut cartridges, or use borders already on the cartridges and weld them together for a continuous pattern. I chose to go with the second tip. I took a cherry themed border found on Gypsy Wanderings and welded 3 of them together to make my border. This really was so easy and so fun! I will definitely be using borders in the future.

I just love the shapes on Gypsy Wanderings. It is one of my favorite carts. I also got the chance to play with my new bakers twine. I have been spotting this all over the web by other fabulous crafters and I knew I had to try it too.
I popped up my border for added dimension.
Next up, I made this card last night. The inspiration for this card came from blog hopping a few months ago and I cannot remember the artist. But she had made the cutest card with a watermelon banner. So I scraplifted her banner idea. I wish I could remember the artist, but it escapes me. But know the watermelon banner is a scraplift.

Big bow on this one. I will probably deliver this one in person or inside the gift box with a birthday gift. It definitely won't fit in an envelope. LOL.
Okie dokie, I'm off to watch the Alabama basketball game with the hubby. We can only get it on the Internet but I reckon' he has it wired up to the TV. So Roll Tide Roll! Whoo Hoo! :)
Thanks for visiting my blog! Happy Scrappin'!
