With Christmas over, I thought I better look ahead at the next holiday...New Years! Can you believe it's almost 2012? I have a feeling it's going to be a great year! I created this card to send to a friend to celebrate New Year's. I made this card in about 30 minutes, so you can't beat that.

Merry Christmas Gift Box

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday! I hope all of you are having a great week! I have a gift box to share with you today. This gift box is for some DT work at Berry 71 Bleu. As you know, Marivic (the owner of Berry Bleu) makes the most gorgeous tags! I always enjoy working with them. I used one of her Christmas tags to jazz up this gift box that was purchased at Hobby Lobby.

"MC" Gift Box

Supplies Used
Tag, Floral Embellishments: Berry 71 Bleu
Alphabet Stickers: Momenta
Pearls: Michaels
Adhesive: Helmar
 Love these glittery floral embellishments!
These crimped foil alphabet stickers are from Momenta. They provide great texture!
Here is an up close of the detail on Marivic's tag. Isn't it adorable?!!
Another view of the floral embellishments. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere these to the gift box.
That is all for me today. I appreciate you stopping by my blog! Have a wonderful day!

Bundle Of Joy

Hey  y'all! Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a fabulous day so far! I have a new post going up over at the Momenta blog today and I wanted to share my project with you here as well. As many of you know, I am going to be aunt again! Yay! My brother and his wife are expecting their second baby boy in April. We are so excited and cannot wait to meet this new addition! I have been trying to make her a few things for showers, her home, and just so she will have them after the baby arrives. I know what a busy time it will be and I thought she could have this album to add pictures in to take along with her when she goes out to show off her bundle of joy.

"Bundle of Joy" 6x6 Album

Supplies Used
Album, Border Sticker, Flourish Sticker, Title Sticker, Flair Sticker: Momenta
Blue Trim: Surplus City
Adhesive: Helmar

Here is my album:
I used a mixture of title and flourish stickers for the front of the album.
I used Bubble & Bling Stickers from Momenta to highlight the pattern on the cover of the album.
I added more B&B stickers, a border sticker, and some blue trim to the edge of the album.
And I wanted to share one of the ultrasounds my SIL had! Isn't this precious?!

Thanks for dropping by my blog today! I hope you all have a fabulous week!

A Bit of Holiday Decor'...

Hey y'all! I hope you are having a fabulous week! Well, this year Christmas is sneaking up on me way faster than it ever has! I usually have the whole house (inside and out) decorated right after Thanksgiving. But this year I have been so busy and time is slipping away so fast. I did get up our tree, which I already shared with you guys. Well today I put up just a little bit more to make the house feel more festive. This is nowhere near what I usually do, but it will have to do. Next year I will have to get my rear in gear a lot sooner! LOL!

Here is our holiday table top. I went with red dishes, lime green chargers, and a toile place mat for the individual settings. For the center of the table, I added a beautiful piece that my Mom gave me for Christmas last year. I also added 2 glasses because I just couldn't pick between which one I liked best. Tee Hee!
Here is an up close of the place setting...
Here are the 2 glasses I used. They were both just too cute to choose between. I purchased both of them at the Christmas Tree Shoppe. The tall, thin Santa one I purchased this year and the candy cane one I purchased last year.
Here is an up close of my centerpiece. It is the neatest vase that you can put any type of drink/cocoa into. It has a little spigot on the outside. Isn't it cute?! A BIG thanks to my Mom!!! Does she know me or what?! She always gives me the cutest stuff!
Just one of the little personalized wooden decorations we have. I set this at the end of the bar as you go into the kitchen.
I added a few holiday decorations in with my things that always sit on the bar in the kitchen. I love this tall, red reindeer. I bought him at a craft fair last year. The little gift box with trees on it is from my Mom too.
The deer is really sparkly and has the cutest ribbon embellishment!
And just had to show this off. Katie Scarlett and I have received so many cute cards and pictures from our friends at Yorkie Talk. I began putting them up on this cork thingy on the wall near Katie Scarlett's doggy condo. We ran out of room and had to start putting them on the fridge, but I still wanted to share a few of them. Look at all these adorable Yorkies we have to look at! Katie Scarlett loves to look at them every day!
Not much this year, but with the decorations and my holiday scented tart melting in the wax warmer, the house sure does feel festive! Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas

Hey y'all! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous week! Can you believe December is flying by so fast?!!! But 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' soon and I am so excited! Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year! We are celebrating Christmas this week over at My Craft Spot. As you may know, we have a new challenge for you every week. This week our challenge is 'Shaped Christmas Cards.' All you have to do is create a shaped card and use a Christmas theme...easy as pie! If you would like to come over to join us for the challenge, go HERE. There is a prize up for grabs! Woot Woot!

For my card, I used my Gypsy to design a shaped card. I also wanted to create a 'patterned paper' background of my own so I used a mixture of twine and ribbon to create a unique pattern for my card background. It also gives a lot of texture, which I love! Here is my project:

"Merry Christmas"

Supplies Used
Cardstock: Core'dinations, The Paper Studio, Recollections
Twine, Stamps: My Craft Spot
Rhinestones: Michael's
Pearl: Queen & Co.
Ink: Stampin' Up!
Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provo Craft)
Cartridges Used: Home Accents, Home Decor, Christmas Cheer
Software: Cricut Gypsy (Provo Craft)
Adhesive: Helmar
Here is an up close view so you can see my patterned background I created with the twine and ribbon. When I designed the card, I used the 'shadow' option for the green card base. I then cut the same shape without the shadow in red cardstock. I used this red piece of cardstock for my base to build on. I laid down adhesive and placed the twine/ribbon on top, overlapping a tad on the edges. After I had the entire piece covered with strips of the twine and ribbon, I used my scissors to trim off the excess.
For the inside of my card, I used 2 stamps from My Craft Spot.
Also, I just had to show off my scrapbooking sidekick! Tee Hee! I looked down and I had a adorable little cutie watching me...my Yorkie, Katie Scarlett! She had gotten sick this past week and scared Mommy half to death! But after a trip to the vet and lots of rest, she is on the mend.
Katie Scarlett says 'scrapbooking is exhausting.' LOL!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I hope to see you again soon! And if you want, do hop on over to My Craft Spot and join us for the challenge! We'd love to see what you can come up with!

Merry Christmas!

Hey guys! Happy Sunday! I just wanted to share a bit of our holiday decor' we have going in our home. These pix are not the best, but I hope you can tell a little about it. Merry Christmas! And I'll be sure to share the rest of our decor' when I finish.

This card features a southern belle that I cut using my Cricut, SCAL, and SVG's from My Scrap Chick. As you know, I LOVE anything like this, so this is a card that I had so much fun making!  Isn't she so cute holding her little parasol? So me! If I could, I would dress like this every single day!
Check out these snowflake gems from Creative Charms! They are awesome and sparkle so pretty in the light!
I used a mixture of gems and a flower from Creative Charms to jazz up her hat.
I used more embellishments from Creative Charms to add to her dress and parasol.
This stamp is from one of the new holiday releases at My Craft Spot. I stamped it onto a cut I cut from my Cricut.
For the back of the card, I used another stamp from My Craft Spot and left a place for me to write my holiday wishes to the recipient.
