Hey yall! How are ya doing on this beautiful day? Did you have a good Christmas?!!! I sure hope so! I have a new post going up over at the She's A Sassy Lady Blog today and I wanted to share my project with you guys here as well. With Christmas over, I thought I better look ahead at the next holiday...New Years! Can you believe it's almost 2012? I have a feeling it's going to be a great year! I created this card to send to a friend to celebrate New Year's. I made this card in about 30 minutes, so you can't beat that.
"Happy New Year"
Supplies Used
Cardstock: The Paper Studio, Bazzill Basics Paper
Patterned Paper: The Paper Studio
Rhinestones, Pearls: Michaels
Thread: Coats & Clark
Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provo Craft)
Cartridges: Wild Card, Celebrate With Flourish
Software: Gypsy (Provo Craft)
Adhesive: Helmar
Other: sewing machine
I used pop dots to pop up the clock/hat cut on the front to add a bit of dimension. I also brought in some thread for a bit of texture.
For the inside of the card, I used leftover paper scraps from making the card front.
I hope you have enjoyed this card! I appreciate you stopping by my blog! Happy New Year!
