Hey yall! Happy Tuesday! I've been a busy bee today. I had a dr. appt. this morning and was out almost all day. It was so nice to go out and chill! The weather was just heavenly! I have 2 layouts that I have finished up within the past day and wanted to share them.
This layout is for a challenge on Just Scrappin' where you couldn't use any patterned paper! It was tough for me, let me tell ya! But well worth it! It was so fun and made me realize you don't always need patterned paper when you create. The layout also had to include a bow and be about someone you love. Of course, I chose Carter. He is one of the greatest treasures I have ever been given. Here is this one:
This layout is for a challenge on Treasured Scrapbooking. It is Dr. Seuss' birthday this month and you were to use one of his books as the title for your layout. I chose to use 'Hop on Pop.' I used Cuttin' Up for the lettering. Also, got to use some of my new Friendly Forrest stuff...love those little critters! LOL. Here is this one:
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful evening!
Hugs!

I really like your layouts! Great job. I have thought about adding a flower or 2 to a LO for my grandson but wasn't sure how it would look. Yours looks great so I may give it a try.
Both are absolutely stunning Aymee !

These are so cute....I love how the photo of Carter came out.
so cute! loving that new paper line!
HI Aymee,
I haven't heard from you or emailed you in a long time. I'm sorry to be so long in getting in touch. You have a fantastic blog. I'm really just getting started with the whole thing. My Mom's been in the hospital & with my illness, it's been tough, KWIM? Any possibility you all are coming down my way? (Virginia)
Did you stitch on that brown on your layout? Is it fabric? anyhow, it's beautiful! TFS Take care.
These are just gorgeous Aymee! I love how your pleating/sewing on your LO's and Cards. It adds such a nice texture. Great job!
My favorite of the two is the first one. I really like the combo of the blues and browns and the copper accent.
