Happy Sunday All! I hope your weekend is going great! I have been at my scrappy desk this morning working on a card for the current challenge at My Craft Spot. This weeks challenge was themed around Christmas in July. Can you believe we are already half way through this year and that Christmas will be here before we know it? I know it seems like a long way off, but it always amazes me at how fast Christmas time arrives. This year I am going to start doing my Christmas shopping in early October. We usually wait until the last minute and I always hate trying to shop in that last minute holiday rush. LOL. It's just awful! So this challenge helped me to go ahead and get started on Christmas cards to send out.
"Brrr...Baby, It's Cold Outside"
Supplies Used
Cardstock: The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper, Chipboard Button: Cosmo Cricket
Alphabet Stickers: Pink Paislee
Pearls: Queen & Co
Twine: Divine Twine
Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provo Craft)
Cartridges: Simply Charmed, Gypsy Wanderings, Winter Woodland
Software: Cricut Gypsy (Provo Craft)
Adhesive: Helmar
I chose a winter stocking hat from Simply Charmed and used my Gypsy to weld it together to make a shaped card. The snowman is from Gyspy Wanderings and the title 'Brrr' is from Winter Woodland. This card came together really quickly. I'd say it took me about 20 minutes to make this one.
I used my Gypsy and the 'hide' feature to hide the flourish that was on the snowman. I love that feature of the Gypsy. It's nice to only cut what you want to cut.
I used Zap Dots to pop up my title for a little dimension.
Ok, back to the scrappy studio for me. I've got some work to do! Enjoy the rest of your day!
Happy Scrappin'!!!
