Hey yall! Happy Sunday! It's the start of another month!!! Can you believe it??!!! I sure can't! Before we know it, Christmas will be here! Anyways, I have some new stuff to share with you today.
First, we have another fun workout for you at ScrapFIT. Here is the link if you would like to visit the blog for the challenge and to see the other designers work....

For this challenge, we were to use a football shape in our layout, funky lettering (Capital mixed in with Lowercase), and the layout needed to be family related. I decided to scrap my little family. At the moment, it is just me and my husband, but we hope to have a new addition soon. For the football shape, I used a punchout embellishment that says 'Grateful' on it. My lettering is from Pink Paislee and I used a mixture of capital and lower case. I pulled most of the papers/embellishment for this page from the October Kit #1 at Treasured Scrapbooking. Here is the page....
"Our Little Family"
This pic was taken in Gettysburg on Little Round Top.
I pleated some cardstock and then tore the bottom....
Do come on over and join us for this fun challenge! We'd love to see what you can do!!!
Next, today is the 1st, so that means reveals for Treasured Scrapbooking. At the 1st of the month, the DT are responsible for one layout/coordinating sketch with the assigned kit and issuing a monthly challenge. I am gonna share my layout to go with my monthly challenge tomorrow, so be sure to check back in if you can!!! :) But today, I thought I'd go ahead and share my sketch and layout with you. Here is the sketch I created to go with my first layout of the month.
Now for my layout. I was assigned Kit #1 this month and it is full of all sorts of goodies. I really like the feminine looking papers and embellishments. For the flowers, I cut a leaf shape out using my Cricut and Home Decor' cartridge. I cut out the shape on blackout using various patterned papers from the kit. Next, using red cardstock, I cut out the same with shadow function on. I then stacked these and used my paper piercer to poke a hole through all of them. I then added a brad and fanned out the 'leaves' to make a flower. I also turned up the edges a bit for some dimension. The black with numbers that you see is Gaffer Tape from 7 Gypsies. I just love that stuff. It has such a cool texture to it. Here is the page...
'Ten Tiny Toes'
Isn't this picture adorable? It was taken by my friend, Tara. This is her little girl, Olivia.
Up close of the large flower. The rhinestone brad that I used in the center is included in the kit as well. This kit has some awesome brads in it!!!
There is also some great ribbons in the kit. I used some red to make some loops on the top of some cardstock for dimension.
Be sure to hop on over to the gallery at Treasured Scrapbooking some time this week to check out the other designers fabulous pages/sketches! So much inspiration!!!!
As always, I want to thank you for taking a moment to stop by my blog today! I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing day!!!! Take care!
