This week I created a card. I cut this turkey out using the Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I cut the 'feather's off and added some of these colored leaves I have had in my scrappy bin forever but never used. I love the pop of color they give. I used the Pumpkin embossing folder on some Coredination's cardstock. I then sanded the cardstock to reveal the core of the cardstock which is a lighter shade of orange. I just love this colored core cardstock! It's so fun to work with. I added some ribbon and trim. The alphas are from Jenni Bowlin.
Gobble Gobble! A up close of my turkey lurkey...Tee Hee...
Next, I wanted to share with you the layout I created for my monthly challenge at Treasured Scrapbooking. My challenge is titled 'On Pins & Needles.' November 27th is National 'Pins & Needles' day and that was my inspo for the challenge. I used my Cricut and SCAL software for the word 'Caught.' I stickled this with some red Stickles. The rest of the page, with the exception of the brown trim, was created using the November Kit #2 at Treasured Scrapbooking. If you are looking for some papers and sewing notions to use in your projects, this is the kit for you!!! I loved it!!! I also used my sewing machine to stitch around the edge. I also used some Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Fired Brick. Here is the page....
"Caught In Your Gaze"
This is a pic of me and the hubby taken during our engagement portrait sitting...
Aren't these pins from the kit so cute? They are from Making Memories.
I cut some vintage tickets (also found in the kit and from Making Memories) in half and used them under the pic...
These super cool paper clips are in the kit too and are from 7 Gypsies...
The epoxy alphas are in the kit as well. I love the look of them.
If you would like to join in on the challenge, visit the link below. I have a $10 gift card up for grabs!!!!
