Welcome to the My Craft Spot 'Christmas Stamp Release Party' Blog Hop

Hey y'all! Welcome to the My Craft Spot Blog Hop!!! We are so glad to have y'all! As you know, we have been debuting the new stamp sets from Kimberly at My Craft Spot this week. Haven't they been fabulous?!!! I hope you guys have loved them as much as I have! To cap off the week long celebration, we are having a blog hop. If you'd like to hop along with us, check out the blog list below.

Blog Hop Line Up

Kimberly (START HERE)
Aymee (YOU ARE HERE)
Bobby (GO HERE NEXT)

If you are hopping along with us, you should of come to my blog from Jayne's blog. My name is Aymee and I am so glad you are here! For my blog hop project, I have created a card using the 'Tis The Season stamp set. So here we go...

"It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year"

Supplies Used
Cardstock: Core'dinations, The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper: Pink Paislee
Twine, Stamps: My Craft Spot
Jeweled Brads: Creative Charms
Pearls: Queen & Co
Ink: Stampin' Up!
Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provo Craft)
Software: Sure Cuts A Lot (Craft Edge)
SVG: My Scrap Chick (Deco Frame)
Adhesive: Helmar, The Paper Studio

I used my Sure Cuts A Lot Software to design this card. The base shape of the card is from a SVG at My Scrap Chick. I stamped my sentiment from the stamp set to the center of the card. I then added a brad/twine technique for a simple embellishment. With the card shape being so elegant, I wanted to keep the center more simpler so that the sentiment would really pop. I also went with more non-traditional Christmas colors on the majority of the card. I did this so that the twine would be a splash of Christmas color.
Love this sentiment from the stamp set! I twisted the twine around some vintage brads from Creative Charms.
I also used a stamp from the same set to stamp the inside of the card.
Now for the FUN stuff! Kimberly has graciously donated a stamp set for me to give away as a RAK on my blog!!! Woot Woot! How nice of her is that?!!! All you have to do to enter to win the stamp set below is to leave me a comment here on this blog posting! That's it, just leave a comment! A winner will be randomly drawn and posted this coming Tuesday!
I hope you have enjoyed my project and are having a blast hopping along with us. Your next stop is the SUPER talented Bobby!!! I am such a fan! Go HERE to continue on the hop!

Happy Hopping to you!
AND thanks for visiting my blog!
