Scrap Happy Thursday AND A RAK!!!

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday! I hope you are having a fabulous day! Are we ready for the weekend?!!! Whoo hoo! I know I am. Apparently, the hubby has a big date planned for me tomorrow. I am so excited to see what he has up his sleeve. Although I told him that a stop at Hobby Lobby would be a nice surprise...hint hint! LOL! So we shall see.

I haven't been too scrap happy this week. My wrist has really been bothering me. It is getting old I tell ya! I'm so tired of it hurting. Some days I can't even open or close my hand all the way. I am going to have to visit the doctor I reckon'. It is just getting out of hand. But the pain of my hand did give me some inspiration...believe it or not. I was sitting in bed last night hurting and thought, I need to make a 'Get Well' card. You never know when a friend or family member is going to fall ill or have to go to the hospital. And you need to be prepared to cheer them up. So that is what I tried to do today. Also, doing a little double duty on my 'to do' list with this card. This card features svg files from My Scrap Chick. My Mom and I have spent a lot of money at My Scrap Chick. It is an online shop that specializes in the CUTEST svg's for you to use with your die cutting machine. Don't tell our hubby's, but I think Mom and I own 95% of the files they sell! I've even made myself a binder to catalog all that we have bought. So I have vowed to start using them more! I mean we paid all this money for them, I need to use them.

"Get Well" Card
Supplies:
Paper: Scenic Route
Cardstock: The Paper Studio, Bazzill Basics Paper, Core'dinations
Alphabet: American Crafts
Rhinestones: Queen & Co.
Twine: Divine Twine
Ribbon: Ribbon FX (Hobby Lobby)
Electronic Cutter: Cricut (Provo Craft)
Electronic Software: Sure Cuts A Lot (Craft Edge)
SVG's: My Scrap Chick
Embossing Machine, Folders: Cuttlebug (Provo Craft), Swiss Dots

This little bear comes from a collection called 'Medical Bears' and you can find that HERE if you are interested. I used the file called 'Bear Behind' and I think you can see why! ROFL! The little bears bottom is peeking out from behind his hospital gown. I have to say that I was giggling the whole time I was piecing him together. It's a good thing I was home by myself. Brandon would of thought I was going nuts over at my desk giggling. The scalloped card base is also a file from My Scrap Chick. It is in with a set called '30 Boxes & More' and you can find that HERE if you are interested. Here is my card...get ready to laugh! If you don't laugh, I don't understand ya! Ha ha ha ha :)
See his little bear bottom? I am thinking this would definitely be a good card for my nephew Carter if the need ever arises.
 Dimension...
Next up, I altered some little fruit jars. My hubby is a huge fan of the fruit that you can buy in the jar at the grocery store. He eats it like it's going out of style. Well I noticed one day all these jars that he was tossing when he was finished, so I asked him to save them for me. I peeled off the stickers, removed the leftover icky-ness with my Helmar Remove Cleaner and washed them. I then had Brandon spray paint the lids for me in a pink color. Then I altered 'em up fairly simply. I filled each with Starburst candy. Through the process I found out they must not monitor what is going in those bags at the Starburst factory. I had way more pink (strawberry) flavored one's. But all I can is they must of knew they were headed to me because I horde all of the pink ones whenever Brandon brings these home! LOL

"Fruit Jars"
Paper: Imaginisce
Die Cuts: Imaginisce
Twine: Divine Twine
Ribbon: Ribbon FX (Hobby Lobby)
Rhinestones: Queen & Co.
Strawberry Jar

 Lemon Jar
 Orange Jar
NOW, for the most FUN part for me today! I decided last night that it has been too long since I held a RAK (random act of kindness). So I want to give away some goodies to one of you fabulous fellow scrappers of mine. I have the following goodies for ya:
