Just A Few Basic Halloween Cards...

Happy Sunday! I have a few, very simple Halloween cards to share with yall today. I was cleaning up my scrappy space the other day and realized I haven't done any stamping in a long while. So I decided that I needed to pull out a few of my Halloween stamps and use them. I wanted to make some basic Halloween cards to send out to our friends/family. So I used a pattern from 'Sheetload Full Of Cards' blogspot. I have had the templates for these for some time, but haven't used them. 'Sheetload of Cards' gives you a template/instructions to make a certain number of cards using minimal papers. For example, for the template I used, a maximum of 6 cards (basic A2 size) can be made using 2 sheets of patterned paper and 3 sheets of solid cardstock. If you would like to check out some of these, go HERE. All patterns can be downloaded at 4shared and those are HERE. I used the 'September 2008' template for my cards. Although this pattern makes 6 cards, I only made 4. I'll save the leftovers for later. Another great thing about using these patterns is that you have plenty of scraps leftover...these are great for decorating the inside of the card.

Card One
"Candelabra"
Supplies:
Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts
Pearls: Queen & Co.
Die Cut: K & Co.
Ribbon: Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc.
Pen: Stampin' Up!
Cardstock: The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper: K & Co.
Stamp: Studio G
Glitter Glue: Ranger Industries
Ink: Stampin' Up!

I decorated the inside of the card with leftover scraps and stamped a sentiment ("Trick or Treat").
 Card Two
"Things That Go Bump In The Night"
Supplies:
Cardstock: The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper: K & Co.
Trim: Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc.
Border Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts
Rhinestones: Studio 18
Stamp: Studio G
Ink: Stampin' Up!
Card Three
"October 31st"
Supplies:
Cardstock: The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper: K & Co
Stamp: Studio G
Ink: Tsukineko (Versamark), Tim Holtz (Ranger Industries)
Embossing Powder: Tim Holtz (Ranger Industries)
Pearl: Queen & Co
Ribbon: Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc.
Border Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts

For this card, I did something I haven't done in a long time...heat embossing. I stamped the owl stamp with Versamark ink and sprinkled on some Tim Holtz Distressing Embossing Powder in 'Peeled Paint.' I love the texture this embossing powder leaves behind. It is so cool.
 Card Four
"Spooky Owl"
Supplies:
Cardstock: The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper: K & Co
Embossing Machine: Cuttlebug (Provo Craft)
Embossing Folder: Victoria, Cuttlebug (Provo Craft)
Die Cut: K & Co.
Pearls: Queen & Co.
Gaffer Tape: Pink Paislee
Ribbon: Michael's
Punch: Martha Stewart Crafts
Stamp: Studio G
Ink: Stampin' Up!
I hope my family/friends will enjoy these. I added an extra little stamp to the envelopes that I am mailing these in. Now, I need to get to the PO and send 'em off.

As always, thanks for stopping by my blog! Have a great rest of the weekend! Happy Scrappin'!
