Croppin' Work

Hey yall! How was your weekend? Good, I hope. I've been croppin' all weekend and I think I am about scrapped out! LOL. I'm tired! I may have to take a break for a day. I wanted to share what all I finished up this weekend.

First, this layout is called "Roll Tide." If you are an Alabama football fan or live in the area, you will know what this means. If not, that is what we Bama fans say when we root on our team. These pix are of Carter all decked out in his Bama gear and ready for game day. I did this layout for 2 challenges. The first challenge was a scraplift challenge on Just Scrappin' and then for a 'Expect the Unexpected' challenge on Treasured Scrapbooking. The unexpected for the layout is that the pix are AL football and I used paper that is totally opposite. I used Graphically Speaking for the flourishes, Home Accents for the medallion, and Stone Script for the title. Here is this one:

Second, this is a layout I did for our one hour sketch challenge on Just Scrappin this weekend. This is Carter playing dress up. Silly boy! I used Graphically Speaking for the title and for the hand. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the hearts in the background.

Third, I did this layout of my grandparents called "Treasure Every Day." This photo was taken on their wedding day. I used Stretch Your Imagination for the tree trunk, Storybook for the owl, and Graphically Speaking for the title.

Next, this layout is of my parents. This one is called 'Infatuation.' Another scraplift challenge. I used Stone Script for the title and Home Accents for the flourish.

Last, I did this layout for a 'Movie/Book Challenge.' The challenge was to scrap a layout about your favorite movie and/or book. Well, my fave movie of all time is Gone With the Wind. This paper piecing of Scarlett Ohara is not my work. My good friend Kate recently did this Scarlett Ohara for me to frame for my scrap room one day. She started out with a 9" and when she got to the face, it was just to small to do. So we ended up having to start all over and do it again at a 11". So she sent me the discareded 9" piecing. All I did was cut out the face and put a pic of me behind it. So now I will know what I would look like if I was Scarlett Ohara...LOL.

As always, thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!
Take care!

All the layouts are wonderful. I love how you used the buttons for the tree. You do some unique work on your cards or layouts. I really enjoyed, looking at them.
