Hey y'all! Happy Monday! I hope all of you are having a wonderful day so far! We have a new challenge up over at the My Craft Spot blog today and I wanted to share my project with you guys here too. This weeks challenge is called "Down on the Farm." We are all creating farm/country themed projects. If you'd like to join in on the fun and enter for a chance to win a prize, go HERE.
Here is what I came up with for the challenge...
Cardstock: The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper: Jillibean Soup
Stickers: Jolee's Boutique
Twine, Crinkle Ribbon, Stamp: My Craft Spot
Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provo Craft)
Software: Cricut Gypsy
Cartridge: Wild Card
Adhesive: Helmar, ZIG Memory System Glue pen
I started with a shaped card in the shape of a sun. I cut the sun in yellow first. I then cut it out again in orange and rotated it just a tad so that I would have yellow and orange rays of sunshine. I used pop dots to pop up the orange part of the sun for added dimension. I then added my embellishments. This was a super simple card to put together. I had it finished in about an hour.
This stamp is from the 'Butterfly Kisses' stamp set.
Here is a pix so you can see the dimension a tad...
Thanks for dropping by my blog today! I hope you will hop on over to MCS to join us for the challenge! See you there!
