Mornin' Yall! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday morning so far. We have a new challenge for ya today at The Cuttlebug Spot. This week we are altering picture frames. If you would like to see all of the other dt's frames and play along, here is the link for ya:

I decided to make my frame for the top of my scrappy desk. I am always needing some place to write down all the things I need to get done each day/week. So I decided that my frame would act as a 'dry erase' board. I need to go and purchase a brown dry erase marker. I tried to write on it with a colored dry erase marker and it was hard to see due to the pattern in the background. So yall will have to visualize my to do's written down on this. Once I have done what needs to be done, all I will have to do is wipe gently over the glass with a damp towel and I can start again. I love this idea because not only is it pretty sitting on my desk, but it also saves paper!!! Yay! I found a old frame I had lying around the house and covered it with paper and embellishments. I cut the scalloped frame that you see out using my Cricut and SCAL (sure cuts a lot) software. If you would like this svg to use with your own SCAL, drop me an email at aymee810@yahoo.com and I can email it to ya! :) I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder and the butterfly die/embossing combo on this project. I also brought in some crate paper ribbon, grosgrain ribbon, stitching, bling, and some buttons. Here is my frame:
Close up of some of the embellishment. These alphas are Making Memories Tiny Alpha's.
I can't wait to start writing on this and using it on a daily basis! If you have a frame around your house that needs some sprucing up, please do so and share it with us at The Cuttlebug Spot! We'd love to see!
That is all for me today! I wanted to say too that I will be MIA for a few days. I will be flying home to Alabama tomorrow to be with my family for a bit. My Daddy is having surgery and I want to be there. So if you have a moment, please say a prayer for my Daddy that his surgery will go ok. I would appreciate it so much!! Thanks!
Have a fabulous day and Happy Scrappin'! See ya soon!
