Happy Halloween Eve!! Hope you all are ready for a great weekend! I have 2 crops to go to this weekend, so I am as happy as can be. I have been working on a few things this evening that I thought I'd share. This first card is for a friend on SAS named Kelly. Her FIL had surgery today and I wanted to send them a little card. Please keep their family in your prayers. This card was really easy. I used the gate fold cards that Ashley had made me. I ran the flaps through the Cuttlebug using Swiss Dots. Then I had bought this "Get Well Soon" index card at the sb store. So I just adhered it to the front. Here it is...excuse the carpet...LOL!
Then next, I completed 2 cards actually for this weeks Cuttlebug Challenges. I am just enjoying that blog soooo much! I highly recommend it to all of you Cuttlebug lovers. Each week they give us another great idea to use. They even had a cuttlebug camp this past weekend with all sorts of neat projects. I did not get to participate this time, but I want to do some of the projects. Some awesome stuff being done! Anyways, this weeks challenge was to use your cuttlebug on foil/metallic paper. Well, I did not have any of that, so I used the faux kind! LOL. I simple took some household kitchen aluminum foil and adhered it to basic cardstock with a craft glue stick. Let it dry and then run it through the cuttlebug and Voila'! You are done! So easy and so cost efficient!! Here is the first card I did. I used the Cuttlebug Floral Fantasy folder and cut out a scalloped oval with it.
Then I decided to make Brandon (my husband) a little Halloween card for tomorrow. A really simple one, not too much to it. I ran the faux foil paper through the Cuttlebug using the Spider web folder. I then ran a piece of black cardstock through with the Haunted House folder, cut it out, and adhered it down. Again, really simple.
Thanks for looking! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and a Happy Halloween!!!!

ROFL!!!!
Hey yall! Well, still makin' tags. One of my good gf's, Cristal, just got some new boots. Of course, you know they are pink! Soooo cute! So I had to make a tag to honor the boots! LOL!!! Thanks for looking!
Howdy Yall!
Howdy! I've been making tags today! I have done 10 so far, 5 of each, and wanted to share with yall as well. I love this ribbon!!! It reminds me of the ribbon you see on a cowboy's handkerchief. So cute! I used the cricut PDDU for the cowboy and cowgirl.
Then I also finished up this card. I started on it last night, but I had to let the stickles on the tree dry. So finished it up today. This is a gate fold card. I used my new Cricut Christmas Solutions cart for the tree. I ran the folds through the cuttlebug using the Script Folder.

The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge 5
Happy day all! Hope you are having a great day!! It is really cold and windy here. Brrrr!!! I am trying to participate more in a new blog (or new to me that is) called The Cuttlebug Spot. This week's challenge was to choose your favorite folder and showcase it in a project. I am still working on Christmas cards, so I did another Christmas card. I could never ever pick one single favorite folder. I love them all. But I seem to go through spurts where I use one particular folder alot more. So my favorite here lately has been the D'Vine Swirl. I love it!!! So I incorporated it onto the front and inside of my card. I also used my new Cricut Christmas Solutions cartridge for the vintage looking sign. I stamped/embossed a "G" (for the first letter of my last name) on the sign with a filagree alpha stamp. I then attached a bow for some decoration on the sign. Thanks for looking! Hope you all have a great rest of the week!

Last card for today
Hey all! I finished up this last card a while ago and wanted to share. I think this will be all for me today. I'm worn out! LOL. I used the cricut JOTS cart for the fireplace, stockings, and topiaries. Then I used the cricut PDDU for the Santa that is coming down the chimney. I stamped the image above the fireplace. Thanks for looking! Have a great evening!
2 Christmas Cards
Just another manic Monday....ya singin' it yet? LOL. Hope all of you are off to a great week so far. I just finished up these 2 Christmas card for a fun little crop I'm hosting on SAS. I used the JOTS cart for each of these along with some cuttlebug embossing folders. I also pulled out my fave...STICKLES, and used those as well. Thanks for looking!
Another Thanksgiving Card
Hey yall! I just did this Thanksgiving card. The paper doll is from the cricut PDDU cart. I also used the Pumpkin Harvest Embossing folder. Then on the inside, I scraplifted the idea for the turkey from Ashley. She sent me the cutest little card. I just had to figure out how to do it. Mine is a little different. I found a scalloped circle on my storybook cart and cut it out in orange, brown, and green for the feathers. You just fold the scallpoped circle a certain way and voila'...feathers. Then I cut out the turkey from the PDDU cart, cut just the body out, and shaded with some chalk. I also used my MS Pumpkin Embossing border punch. Thanks for looking!

A Few Cards
Hello all! It's been a lazy Sunday for me! But good to relax. I did finish up 3 cards last night though that I thought I'd share. I am hosting a new Christmas Card Crop on SAS. So will be doing alot of cards for a bit. Looking forward to it though. These first 2 cards are Christmas cards. I used my new SU stamps that I just got. On the first one, I did a technique I've never done before...which was to sand the paper after running it through your cuttlebug, so that was fun! Then I also did 1 Thanksgiving card. I used the Cricut PDDU for the little pilgrim. I also used the CB Houndstooth EB folder on it. Thanks for looking! Hope everyone has a great week!!!

Cuttlebug Challenge # 4
Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend! I just finished up my card for this week's Cuttlebug Challenge. The challenge this week was to emboss on patterned paper. I decided to go ahead and get started on my Thanksgiving cards. I chose to use the Pumpkin Harvest embossing folder. I embossed it onto patterned paper that has thanksgiving words on it. I then took my Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Peeled paint and ran over the top of it so that it would show better. I also incorporated ribbon, a safety pin, and a little pumpkin charm. I also decorated the inside. Then last, I embossed again on some leftover patterned paper with the To/From "Created for you with love" folder. I also ran the TH ink over it. Thanks for looking! Hope you all have a blessed weekend! I'm off to a party!! Yay!

Yo Ho! Yo Ho! A Pirates Life For Me!
Hello everyone! I just made this pirate for my nephew Carter. It will be for his ABC book. I had to put it on the blog so Momaw could show him. I used some chalk to dirty him up some....my mom's idea! Clever woman! Hope everyone is having a great day!
We Did The Wild Thing
Did I get your attention with that title? Hee hee hee! I did this LO for a sketch challenge on DIY. I have to say that I don't really feel like this is my particular style anymore. When I first started scrapbooking, all of my layouts looked like this. I always wanted to get alot of picutures into one LO. But as time has gone by, I don't really do this anymore. Not that it is a bad look or anything like that, I just think it is so cool how all of our styles evolve as scrapbookers. It amazes me how our styles and tastes change the more and more we scrapbook. So doing this type of LO really did bring back memories for me. I am so glad I did this one. Hope you all have a great day! Hugs!

Gutter Girlz Prompt #9
Hey all! I have recently found a great blog called Gutter Girlz. The ladies on there are just amazing! They really scrap with all their heart and I love that! I love showing all that emotion through your scrapbooking. This time the prompt was "I Can't." So I decided to do a LO about my husband and how I can't help myself for loving him. He is the best thing in my life and I hope he will always know that. I found this poem on the internet, typed it up, and printed it out on cream colored cardstock. The poem reads:
I'm not supposed to want you
I'm not supposed to care
And yet I spend my time dreaming
of all that we could share
I'm not supposed to think about you
or wonder where you've been
but no matter how I fight it
Thoughts of you sneak in
I'm not supposed to ponder
where you are each night
But you creep into my vision
When the stars shine bright
I'm not supposed to yearn so
Always wishing you were here
But I hunger for your kisses
And I long to draw you near
I'm not supposed to imagine
Where you are and what you do
I know I shouldn't caterto a single thought of you
I'm not supposed to need you
I know these things I do
And yet I can't help myself
Because I fell in love with you
I also did a new technique for me and that is embroidering on a LO. I embroidered all of the pink flowers that you see. The prompt also included the use of pink, so I have that in my paper. I really enjoyed this challenge!! I encourage all of you to stop by and check out that blog. It is awesome! So much inspiration. I have a link to it on here, so check it out!!! Thanks for looking! Hope you all are having a great week! Hugs!!

Anyway
Hello all! Hope you are doing well today. I did this LO for the mini crop we are having at Just Scrappin'. The challenge was to use cardboard on your LO. This is the first time I have ever used cardboard and I have to say I am a fan! I love the rough texture it gives. I was inspired to do this LO by one of my fave songs, "Anyway" by Martina McBride. The lyrics really speak to me personally. I printed up the lyrics onto vellum and attached them to cardstock. I also incorporated some flowers and brads. I used the cricut Storybook cartridge and Cuttin Up cartridge for the lettering. The journaling reads:
You can spend your whole life buildin'
Somethin' for nothin'
One storm can come and blow it all away
Build it anyway
You can chase a dream
That seems so out of reach
And you know it might not ever come your way
Dream it anyway
This world's gone crazy and it's hard to believe
That tomorrow will be better than today
Believe it anyway
You can love someone with all your heart
For all the right reasons
And in a moment they can choose to walk away
Love 'em anyway
You can pour your soul out singin'
A song you believe in
That tomorrow they'll forget you ever sang
Sing it anyway
God is great, but sometimes life ain't good
When I pray it doesn't always turn out like I think it should
But I do it anyway
I really enjoyed doing this LO. I am trying to scrap more on a personal leval with some of my LO's. So I hope some of that comes through too. Thanks for looking. Hugs!

I am participating in a mini online crop at Just Scrappin'. We are having a card challenge, a LO challenge, and a 1 hr. sketch challenge. I did this card for the card challenge. We had a sketch to go by for this one. It is really simple, not too much to it. I used some flowers I got from my girl, Ashley, ribbon, and stamped the 'enjoy' image. Thanks for looking!

A Little Taste of Fall
Hey yall! I did this card a few weeks ago and submitted it to cricut for the newsletter. I doubt it will make it in, but I am proud of it. I used the Printing Press and Home Accets cartridges. I also used my MS Drippy Goo Border punch for th caramel drizzling down the apple. I then recycled plastic pkg'ing from a scrapbook paper kit to 'wrap' my apple up. This was such a fun card to make!! Thanks for looking!
