"Hello" Notepad

Hey everyone! Long time, no see! I haven't blogged in quite sometime. I do apologize for that but I have been so busy with custom sewing orders that I have not had as much time to scrap. I missed scrappin', but I was able to sit down today and make a few simple projects. I thought I would share one with you guys today.

I altered one of those clear 4x6 inch plastic picture frames you can pick up at any craft store for around a $1 and transformed it into a Post It notepad holder. Super simple and so fun! Here is what I came up with...

"Hello"
Paper, Stickers, Embellishments: Momenta
Notepads: Post It (3M)
Ribbon: RibbonFX (Hobby Lobby)
Punch: EK Success
Adhesive: Helmar
I used a wide variety of scrapbooking supplies from the Momenta 'Kaleidoscope' Collection on this project. I just love the bold colors and patterns of this collection. Momenta rocks!
Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back with another project soon!
Happy Scrappin'!!!

I created this banner out of some new alphabet stickers Momenta has just came out with. I used my hot glue gun to glue on some buttons in between each banner piece.
 Cute Lil' Ladybug!
The letters that I used to create the word 'summer' are also some new stickers from Momenta. They come in a sticker kit. I love the 'brights' pack. It has a bright blue, green, pink, and orange.
I added a border sticker to the bottom.
I hope you have enjoyed this project! Enjoy your weekend and THANK YOU to all of our current/past military men and women who are serving our country! May God Bless each and every one of you!

A Couple Of New Sewing Projects...

Hey y'all! I wanted to share a few sewing projects I created this week. All our modeled by our new puppy....well sort of! LOL. We got a vinyl pup in a size XS to model my canine couture. His name is Sir Licorice. I am thinking we may need to get him a XXS, S, and M brother/sister!

First, a harness in a size XXS for a little boy Yorkie. The harness is a little tight on my XS model, but should fit the real puppy just right! :)

A Paris Dress for a little cutie patootie!

And a coordinating Paris dress to match the one above. This one is a little big on my XS model, but should fit the real pup just right.

Thanks for dropping in! See you guys later!

Sharin' My Stitchin'

Hey guys! I wanted to share a few pix of my latest dog carrier. This carrier was custom made for Carmen and her little Yorkie, Luma. Carmen chose the outer fabric, which I just adore! I added a coordinating lining fabric, trims, and embellishments. I am really happy with the way this one came out! It was so fun to create!
I added this beautiful blinged out button to the flap. I found it at Joann Fabrics. The flap is held close with Velcro.
The carrier has a scoop on one side so Luma may peek her cute lil' head out comfortably.
A view so you can see the handles...
There is a safety strap on the inside so Carmen can snap this onto Luma's harness so she will stay safe.
And as a way to show my thanks, I took some leftover fabric and made Luma a coordinating pantsuit! She is going to be so adorable all matched!
I could make these pantsuits all day! They are so much fun!
There is a ruffle on each of the legs to add that bit of frilly-ness...is that a word? LOL!
I added a button to the center of the bow on the pantsuit.
And wanted to share a few pix of Katie Scarlett too. She went to her very first birthday party today!!! It was a human, not doggy, birthday party for our neighbor. He turned 6 today. We all had a wonderful time! Katie Scarlett loves to party! I took some pix before we left!
Katie Scarlett wore a new dress to the party. This dress was custom made from my fellow Yorkie Talk buddy, Kathy! I love the wild fabric combo!!!
"This is my good side, Mom!" Tee hee!
