Hey y'all! Happy Friday! I wanted to hop online right quick to share a card I just finished up. My Mom texted me this afternoon to let me know that a coworker of hers needed a card for her daughter's upcoming birthday. Since Mom is headed for her cruise (lucky dog! LOL), I told her I would help out and make the card for her. She showed me a sketch at Mojo Monday that she liked and I used it as inspiration. Here is my final project:
"Sweet Birthday Wishes"
Supplies Used
Cardstock: Recollections, The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper: Jillibean Soup, Anna Griffin
Die Cut: Collage Press
Pearls, Rhinestones: Michael's
Sentiment Stamps, Crinkle Ribbon: My Craft Spot
Punch: EK Success, Recollections
Thread: Coats & Clark
Ink: Stampin' Up!
Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provo Craft)
Software: Cricut Gypsy
Cartridge: Gypsy Wanderings
Adhesive: Helmar, ZIG Memory System, Scotch
Sketch: Mojo Monday Sketch #231
Other: southernbelle stamp, brown rope trim, sewing machine
I ordered this southernbelle stamp a few years ago on Ebay. I cannot remember the mft, but it sure is cute! The sentiment stamps and crinkle ribbon are from My Craft Spot.
The die cut that I stamped 'sweet birthday wishes' on was pulled from my scrappy stash. I have had it for many years and glad I was finally able to use it up!
Oh, how I love me some crinkle ribbon!
I used pop dots to pop up my tag a bit.
The inside is finished off with more coordinating patterned paper and a stamped sentiment from My Craft Spot.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
Happy Scrappin'!!!
