Croppin' Work
Hey yall! How was your weekend? Good, I hope. I've been croppin' all weekend and I think I am about scrapped out! LOL. I'm tired! I may have to take a break for a day. I wanted to share what all I finished up this weekend.
First, this layout is called "Roll Tide." If you are an Alabama football fan or live in the area, you will know what this means. If not, that is what we Bama fans say when we root on our team. These pix are of Carter all decked out in his Bama gear and ready for game day. I did this layout for 2 challenges. The first challenge was a scraplift challenge on Just Scrappin' and then for a 'Expect the Unexpected' challenge on Treasured Scrapbooking. The unexpected for the layout is that the pix are AL football and I used paper that is totally opposite. I used Graphically Speaking for the flourishes, Home Accents for the medallion, and Stone Script for the title. Here is this one:

Second, this is a layout I did for our one hour sketch challenge on Just Scrappin this weekend. This is Carter playing dress up. Silly boy! I used Graphically Speaking for the title and for the hand. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the hearts in the background.

Third, I did this layout of my grandparents called "Treasure Every Day." This photo was taken on their wedding day. I used Stretch Your Imagination for the tree trunk, Storybook for the owl, and Graphically Speaking for the title.

Next, this layout is of my parents. This one is called 'Infatuation.' Another scraplift challenge. I used Stone Script for the title and Home Accents for the flourish.

Last, I did this layout for a 'Movie/Book Challenge.' The challenge was to scrap a layout about your favorite movie and/or book. Well, my fave movie of all time is Gone With the Wind. This paper piecing of Scarlett Ohara is not my work. My good friend Kate recently did this Scarlett Ohara for me to frame for my scrap room one day. She started out with a 9" and when she got to the face, it was just to small to do. So we ended up having to start all over and do it again at a 11". So she sent me the discareded 9" piecing. All I did was cut out the face and put a pic of me behind it. So now I will know what I would look like if I was Scarlett Ohara...LOL.

As always, thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!
Take care!

What a busy Wednesday!!!!
Hey everyone! How's it goin? It was one busy Wednesday for me. I worked on Disney paper piecings all day. It was so much fun! I got 13 done. I will be doing the 7 Dwarfs from Snow White tomorrow and then that will be all for a bit. I would like to do Cinderella's carriage with a horse too. Maybe I can do that one soon. I also did one of our card challenges for this month on Just Scrappin'. The card challenge was a sketch one. So I followed a sketch for this one. The challenge also required you to use pink, 2 photo corners, and a dangling charm. Here is my card:

Now, here are the 13 paper piecings I finished up today:

I hope all of you have a wonderful Thursday! If you aren't busy this weekend, be sure to come on over to Just Scrappin'. We are having a February "Red Hot Crop." We have a lot of fun challenges lined up! It's gonna be sooo fun! Take care!

Love This Woman!
Good Evening Yall! Before I go to bed, I wanted to post a layout I finished up tonite. This layout is doing quadruple-duty for me! LOL...is that even a word? I am using this for 3 challenges on Treasured Scrapbooking and for 1 on Just Scrappin'. This layout is dedicated to one of the best friends I have ever had....Cristal. She is just a sweetie pie and I love her to pieces!!! Since the layout is about her, I had to use her 'exploding heart' technique. This was the first time I've ever done this and it was way cool!!!! I used my Cricut and cut a 9" heart from the Plantin' Schoolbook cart to make my heart template. The lettering is 'Tinsel' Thickers. The journaling reads:
"This is one of my best friends, Cristal! From the day I met her, I have been so thankful that she is in my life! Cristal is truly one talented scrapper and the best pal a girl could ask for. She's honest, she's REAL, she's down to Earth, she's giving, and she's my friend. Cristal, always know that I got ya back and am always here for you! I love ha and will always treasure our friendship! Love, A"
Here is some pix for ya:

Birds Of A Feather HOOT Together
Hey yall! This week's challenge on The Cuttlebug Spot was to create a Valentine's Day card for a little one in your life. I made this card for my niece, Autumn. She really likes pinks and purples. I chose this stamp because she is like me. She is so girly girl and likes things so so. I hope she will like it. I added some texture to my paper pleating with the use of my Cuttlebug. I used the Floral Fantasy Embossing folder on this one. Here is is:

As always, thanks for stoppin' by! Take care!
