On the other canvases I made earlier (I think it's 2 posts below this one) I used Helmar Antique Acrylic Sealer. But on these 2, I used Mod Podge to seal them. I used 4 light coats, letting each coat dry about 30 minutes in between. Before sealing, I adhere everything my go to, favorite adhesive...Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. I love this stuff! I never worry about things coming undone with it. I put teh rhinestones, which were adhesive backed on after I had sealed it. Sometimes I go over these with more sealer, sometimes not. They seem to be really tacked on, so sometimes I don't. For non adhesive backed rhinetones, I used Helmar Gemstone Glue. As for paint, I just used basic craft paint you can find at any craft store. I believe the brand I used was called Apple Barrel.

I hope you will give these a try! You will be hooked! They are so much fun!!!!

And thanks for visiting my blog!Bamabelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07757032212928630277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1394656901782720463.post-49258418044066884312011-01-24T12:42:08.459-05:002011-01-24T12:42:08.459-05:00OMG I am so sorry I realized I sent the same messa...OMG I am so sorry I realized I sent the same message twice -- sorry!!

Heatherhla2425https://www.blogger.com/profile/07501391141776102142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1394656901782720463.post-89647669763721335472011-01-24T12:40:59.466-05:002011-01-24T12:40:59.466-05:00Amyee I love these and I love your blog!!
