Playing With Mar-Kits

Hey y'all! Happy Saturday! How are you doing? I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend! We are having a pretty low-key weekend around here. The hubby had to work all night last night, so he is in the bed today. I am going to sew I reckon'...LOL. I have a new idea in my head and I am determined to get it out onto fabric! Stay tuned! Then tomorrow we are going to the flea market! Yay! A day date!

But in the meantime, I have a couple of new projects to share with you guys. Peggy over at Cri-Kits sent me some of their new product. They are called Mar-Kits and are SOOO cool! You use them with your electronic cutting machine to draw on your paper! They work fabulous! You can check them out HERE if you would like. I created a card and a hanging sign using these cool new goodies. Here is what I came up with:

"Hi" Card

Supplies Used
Cardstock: Core'dinations, The Paper Studio, Die Cuts With a View
Patterned Paper: Fancy Pants Designs
Alphabet Stickers: Making Memories
Butterflies: Creative Charms
Rhinestones, Perals: Michael's
Markers: Mar-kits from Cri-Kits
Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provo Craft)
Software: Cricut Gypsy
Cartridges: Gypsy Wanderings, Home Accents
Adhesive: Helmar
Here is an up close view of my Mark-it's action and the butterflies...
These butterflies are from Creative Charms and provide great dimension!
"Spooky" Hanging Sign

Supplies Used
Cardstock: The Paper Studio, Core'dinations
Patterned Paper: Die Cuts With A View
Ribbon: RibbonFX (Hobby Lobby)
Stickers: American Crafts, K&Company
Rhinestones: Michael's
Markers: Mar-Kits from Cri-Kits
Staples: Swingline
Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provo Craft)
Software: Cricut Gypsy
Cartridge: Pumpkin Carvings
Adhesive: Helmar

I used my Gypsy to weld the spiderweb shapes together and an orange Mar-Kits to draw it onto my patterned paper.
Thanks for dropping by my blog! I hope you have a beautiful day!

Happy Scrappin'!!!
