A Couple New Cards...

Hey y'all! Happy Monday to you! I hope your week is starting off grand! I have been cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, and scrappin' today. The hubby had to go out to Jersey and I cooked him a nice dinner before he left: Lemon Dill Baked Tilapia Filet's, Macaroni & Cheese (tried that new Kraft Home style kind...it was pretty good), green beans, and some fresh yeast rolls. It was so yummy and nice to sit down to eat with Brandon before he had to leave. I hate it when he has to go to work. The house is so quiet and lonely while he is gone and I do not like it! LOL.

So today, I tried to do a bit of scrappin'. I was not feeling too creative at first but there was nothing else to do. So I needed some serious inspiration. I found that inspiration at a new blog I discovered while blog hopping called 'Van Larr Designs.' I'm not sure if you've visited her blog or not, but you must! Her work is so inspirational! Go HERE to check it out if you'd like. The card below is a total scraplift of a card I saw on her blog. I just loved her card. It was blue and yellow and just gorgeous!!! My card does not come close to the beauty of hers, but I was pleased with the way it turned out. Thank you to her for the inspiration and I hope she doesn't mind my scraplifting.

Someone I know has a birthday coming up next week and this card is just for her.
