Lemon & Fish...A Perfect Combination

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday! Well, I found myself scrapping my food cravings again today! This is 2 times in a row! I have got to stop scrappin' when I'm hungry! LOL. I have seriously been craving some baked fish with a bit of lemon, maybe some dill...yum yum! So instead of heading to my kitchen to cook, I sit at my desk and scrap it. However, I think this makes me want it even more. So I think I'll definitely be going to the grocery store this week! LOL.

Anyways, through my cravings, I made 2 cards. First up, a lemon themed card. For this card i used:
"Thx" (Thanks)
Cardstock: The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper: Die Cuts With A View, The Paper Studio, Fancy Pants Designs
Alphabet: American Crafts
Ribbon: Offray, Michaels
Pearls: Queen & Co.
Twine: Divine Twine
Die Cut Machine, Cartridges: Cricut (Provo Craft), Simply Charmed & Christmas Cards
Die Cut Software: Gypsy (Provo Craft)

The shaped card is from the 'Christmas Cards' cartridge and the lemons are from 'Simply Charmed.' I found the lemon printed ribbon in the $1 bin at Michaels a few years ago.
Just loved this printed ribbon! I may have to go on the hunt for more!
I popped up the center lemon for more dimension.
Next up, a fishy card. Although this card was inspired by my cravings, it was also inspired by this weeks challenge over at Bitten By The Bug 2. You can check it out HERE. This week the challenge focuses on the image of the boy fishing on the 'A Child's Year' cartridge. I do have this cartridge, but I have been wanting to cut the fish I used on my card that can be found on 'Celebrate With Flourish' for a long time. So I went with it instead. This is a very simple, basic card. I was thinking it would be a good card to send to my Daddy for his birthday in April. So I did not do much to it. I didn't want to make it girly looking. On this card I used:

"Fishing Card"
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Core'dinations, The Paper Studio
Patterned Paper: Die Cuts With A View, K & Company
Glitter Glue: Stickles (Ranger Industries)
Pearls: Queen & Co.
Die Cut Machine, Cartridge: Cricut (Provo Craft), Christmas Cards & Celebrate With Flourish
Die Cut Software: Gypsy (Provo Craft)
I welded the fish shape onto a card base found on the 'Christmas Cards' cartridge.
That's it for me today. I'm off to raid the fridge...LOL.
Have a great evening!
Thanks for stopping by my blog & Happy Scrappin' to ya!
