SFTIO DT Reveal #2

Hey yall! I hope you are having a great day! It's so chilly here and windy!!! Brrr! I hope I don't blow away! LOL! It's so windy in PA and when it's cold, it just makes you shiver to the bone! The hubby and I have a very important appointment today and I am so excited!!! Woot woot! I hope it goes good!

In the meantime, I wanted to share my DT Reveal #2 for this month at SFTIO. This months theme is 'Wonder.' For more information on the kit and about SFTIO, you can see the post below this one. This layout is more personal and not as chipper as most of my layouts, but I think it's very therapeutic to scrap your thoughts/feelings/etc. every once in a while. This layout has to deal with something that has been bothering me for quite some time. I don't mean the layout to come off like most people might think when they read the journaling. It's just with my husbands hectic schedule, we never see each other anymore. Our time spent together is few, far, and in between. I sometimes feel like we are falling into a rut and drifting away, but I know that we both love each other more now than we ever have. And I don't mean to complain. He is such a hard worker and I know he has to be gone to make money. I am VERY thankful for everything he does for our little family, but I still can't help feeling lonely at times. So this layout is about my 'concern' and how I want to try to make the most of the time we are together and find the passion we share together again.

For this page, I used more artwork provided by our DT Coordinator at SFTIO, Nancy. She always sends the best artwork that she finds online.  When I first saw this picture, I knew exactly that I wanted to use it and how I wanted to use it. I think it conveys my journaling very well and I just love the colors in the artwork. All patterned paper on this page is from Websters Pages. The chipboard, alphabet stickers, and flower are all from the December 'Wonder' kit as well. The blue pearls are from my own scrapp stash. I used the Helmar Quick-Fix Adhesive Runner for the majority of the page. I used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to adhere my flower and chipboard. Here is my page:

'Concern'
Isn't the Prima flowers in this kit amazing? I love the feathers on this one!
Journaling. This journaling is on a Websters Pages die cut.
I love the black/white patterned paper in the background with the ladies in hats on it! So me! LOL. I inked the chipboard with some black ink from Stampin' Up!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you have a fabulous day! I have a Helmar Blog post going up tomorrow and will share that with you here as well. Then on Friday, I will continue sharing the SFTIO stuff!

Happy Scrappy Hugs! :)

Amazing layout. Do you keep these pages in a seperate book about yourself or in your regular book. I bet when you look back you can really get a sense of how you have grown over the years.
