SFTIO DT Reveal #1

Hey yall! Happy Tuesday! Long time, no blogging for me. I do apologize. This is just a crazy time for me right now. I'm dealing with a lot of changes and then the hubby got sick. But I am working on catching up. I am so ready for the holidays to be over!!! I don't mean to be a Scrooge, but I am just not feelin' the spirit this year. This whole year has been a tough one. I am ready for 2011! I hope some major changes will come my way. I need change! But anyways, let's get back to scrappin'!!! I haven't been scrappin' near as much here lately. I miss it so much, but just haven't had the time or haven't had the mojo to do so. But I hope the mojo will spark back up after the holidays. In the meantime, I wanted to share my DT work for this month at SFTIO (Scrapbooking From The Inside Out). As you may know, SFTIO is a emotion based kit club. Each month the kits are themed around one emotion. This month we have...'Wonder.' Let me tell you, this kit ROCKS!!!! It is my favorite by far! It is totally glam and right up my alley! If you want to check out the kit, go HERE. It is filled with goodies from Cosmo Cricket, Websters Pages, My Mind's Eye, American Crafts, Sassafras Lass, Pink Paislee, GCD Studios, Prima and much more! So awesome!

My first page is called 'Awestruck.' This page focuses on how I love being a girly girl! I am 'awestruck' by anything with frills, lace, bling, bows, etc. I just love it all and would dress up fancy every single day if I could! This page was one of my more favorite to create with the kit because I love the color combo and of course the houndstooth patterned paper. All of the patterned paper seen on this page is from Websters Pages. I love that stuff!!! I printed off the artwork. Our DT Coordination at SFTIO, Nancy, always provides us with the most amazing artwork that she finds and I just love to use it! When I saw this piece of artwork, it spoke to me immediately. I also pulled in a bit of stitching with the use of my sewing machine with this page. The 'leaves' on the flower are handmade with some ribbon I found in the kit. And of course....notice the peacock action on this patterned paper!!! Ahhh! Yall know I have a thing for peacocks! I wish I could have a peacock themed blog! Tee Hee!

Of course, what page is complete without my favorite Helmar Adhesives?! I used the Quick Fix Adhesive Runner for the majority of this page. I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry and Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots on my flower. Here is my page:
 Journaling....
Isn't this artwork the cutest?! I love it!
Here is my flower that I made the leaves on I mentioned earlier. And check out that awesome brad in the center of the flower...also included in the kit.
I'll be back tomorrow with DT Reveal #2! I hope you'll join me!

Have a fabulous evening! As always, thanks for visiting my blog! Happy Scrappin'!

What a great page. I admire that you can scrap from the inside out and let people into the real you. Yup, admire you for that! TFS
