ScrapFIT & Treasured Scrapbooking Reveals

Mornin' Yall! How are ya today? I hope you are all doing well! I have some new schtuff to share with ya today.

First, we have a new challenge for ya at ScrapFIT. For this challenge we are scrapping a recipe. I decided to scrap one of our family favorites...red velvet cake. Yummy!!!! For my page, I used a combo of Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon paper. The green decoration that you see is a sticker by Basic Grey. The lettering is from Doodlebug Designs. The 'Home' that you see sticking out from the photo is a Jenni Bowlin bingo card. I wrote my recipe on a Jenni Bowlin journaling card. I did not want to adhere it down in case future generations might want to pull it out to use it when baking the cake. So I used some photo anchors (turnmounts) to hold it down. That way, when you want to use it, you just move the photo anchors and pull it out. Then you can put it back when you are done. I also brought in some ribbon (Basic Grey), tulle, and twine, a flower, stitching, and some cardboard. I used my Cricut to cut out a medallion shape. I used it as a guide to trace on my paper since I only needed one side. Here is my page....

"Scrumptious"

If you would like to join us for this challenge, and to see the other DT's fabulous projects, go here...

Also, as always, on the 15th I have my second reveals for Treasured Scrapbooking. I was assigned to kit#1 this month and love love LOVE it!!! It is filled with all sorts of awesome scrappy goodness!!! Pick one up today!!!

First, here is my second layout for the month of November using the kit. I used my Cricut and SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) software for the medallion shaped papers. This is Carter and one of his little buddies, Carly...she is so cute!!!

"It Must Be Love"

Next, for my altered project this month I created a cascading paper bag album. I was croppin' with my gal pal, Michele, and she happened to show me a paper bag album she had created. She is always so inspiring!!! So I decided I had to make one too. This is my first paper bag album, but will not be my last!!! This was so easy and fun to make!! Here is the link to the instructions that I used...

I made this book for my bff, my Mom. I tried to go with a coffee theme. We are both big coffee lovers. I cut the title 'I Love You A Latte' out using my cricut. The coffee beans and coffee cup are from a Sizzlits die. Everything else, minus the bags and Bind It All rings, was pulled from Kit #1 at Treasured Scrapbooking.

Here is the view from the front of the album...
The open ends of my paper bag are on pages 2 and 4. So for page 2, I tucked a little tag inside that can be pulled out. I wrote my Mom a message on it. I pulled it out a tad so you can see.
Page 3....isn't my Mom a cutie?? She is the blond. Now if I only could of inherited her skinny body frame!! LOL

Page 4...I left this one blank so my Mom could add her favorite picture(s) of us. The fourth page has a pocket too and inside I tucked a little surprise for my Mom. Included in the kit is a datebook that you can alter up. So I added some coordinating cardstock, a rub on, and used the chipboard alpha's to add her name. My Mom always carries a datebook, so I think she will love this. I pulled it out just a bit so you can see....

Here is the datebook pulled all the way out....

That is all for me today. I want to thank you for taking a moment to stop by my blog today. I hope you all have a wonderful day and Happy Scrappin'! See you soon!
