Mmmmmm.......

Hey yall! I finished up 2 more sets of recipe cards for my swap at DIY tonite. I was in a scrappy mood, but ran out of adhesive! Ugh! So this was all I finished up. This first recipe is called 'Black Bean and Rice Enchilada's.' I embossed my pleats using the D'Vine Swirl and Swiss Dots Embossing folders. Here is this one:

Here is the second one I did. This recipe is called "Rotini Chicken Casserole." I used some ribbon, the Fiskars Threading Water border punch, Orange Stickles, and my Martha Stewart button punch for embellishment.

That's all for me today! I hope yall have a wonderful weekend! I hope to get my scrap on and finish these recipe cards....maybe even knock out some challenges. Take care!

Your recipe cards look scrumptious! That was a neat way of doing pleats.

Would you please share instructions on the basic way to make these. I would love to make some for a recipe group I belong to. What do you put your pages in after you are finished. Thanks for sharing. Cindy

Sure Cindy! These are so easy to make. You start with a 6'x6' base. Then you decorate it in any way you would like. Some people type up and print our their recipe's. I have a recipe stamp by Stampabilities. So I stamp mine and hand write them. It takes a bit longer, but I need to use the stamp. LOL When you are finished, you simply put these in a 6x6 mini scrapbooking album. You can organize these into albums however you wish. For example, I have on album for holiday foods, one for soups, one for desserts, etc. You can usually get these 6x6 albums rather cheap when they put them on sale. So keep an eye out. These are so fun and are a great swap to do!!! Or even make great gifts! Hope that helps!
