We Cropped Until We Dropped!!!

Happy Monday Everyone!!! How are you? I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I had one busy, but fantastic weekend! I went to a crop on Saturday and we cropped all day! It was so much fun! I got 6 layouts done! Whoo hoo! Then I went to a Super Bowl Party on Sunday. Brandon and I had such a good time. Our team we were pulling for lost, but that is nothing new! LOL. But I really enjoyed getting to meet one of my gf's family. They were all so nice. Brandon and I are so blessed to have such good friends around us!!! Anywho, I wanted to share with yall the work that I got done. I must of been in a 'blue and green' mood because I used these 2 colors all day! LOL!!

"Adventurous"
This first layout is of my nephew Carter. This photo was taken this past fall in Chattanooga when he decided to climb up a tree. I stamped the ball fringe with a Judikins Bolio stamp and cut it out. I cut the tree out with the Paper Doll Dress Up Cart. I cut the leaves out of the Home Accent cart. I then put a staple in the center of each leaf for some interest. The leaves are raised up a bit with some pop dots. Here is this one:

To show some of the dimension:

"Growing Like A Weed"
Here is another one of Carter. He is growing up so fast! Too fast for his Aunt Mamie! LOL. This paper is from the DCWV "Green" Stack. All of the paper is recycled. I used Home Accents for my 'weed' looking bush at the bottomr right hand corner of the pick. All lettering is Thickers. Love those!!!

"Whoooo Loves You?"
This is my mom and Carter hangin' out and having fun at the Zoo in Memphis. Carter loves his momaw very much. This is more of the DCWV paper from the "Green" Stack. I used up a lot of scraps I had by doing the paper piecing on the back. I used Stretch Your Imagination for the tree trunks. I then cut out ovals, distressed the edges, and wrinkled them up for my tree tops. I also used my Cuttlebug to emboss the brown strip of paper in the background. I used Distressed Stripes.

To show some dimension:

"Perchance To Dream"
I just LOVE this pic of Carter. He had fallen asleep in my lap. He is so precious when he sleeps!!!! I cut the title with the Stone Script cartridge. The green flower is from Prima. I also incorporated some paper pleating on the right. I used my Martha Stewart Lace Doily Edge punch to make my own paper ribbon. I journaled around the shaped paper, which was cut with the Storybook cartridge. I also did a little doodling.

To show journaling around the edge of the shaped paper:

Up close of the paper pleating to show the dimension it gives:

"Amazed"
Here is another one of Carter at the Memphis Zoo. He watched in amazement during the seal show. I love this pic too. It really shows off those baby blue's of his! I used Printing Press for the ring and Home Decor for the stars. The patterned paper is Sassafras Lass.

To show dimension of the stars. I used pop dots to pop them up on 2 diff. levels.

"Hard Hat"
This layout is of Carter acting goofy with his daddy's hardhat on! He is such a silly goose, as we say! Ha ha ha. I used Storybook for the lettering and other shapes/corner. I also incorporated some ribbon. I made the brown paper ribbon by punching both sides of a strip of paper with my Martha Stewart Lace Doily Edge punch. I then added brads in the center.

As always, thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful week yall!
Hugs, Aymee

Hey gf! I love all the layouts. I can barely wait for that paper stack. Like I need it though. Those colors and patterns look so neat!!! Also, I love your homemade lace; especially the one with the green dots in the middle. That was so creative!! Also, nice use of scraps, and I sure do need more letters. That would save me a lot of time. I have to get some before our next 1 hour crop at js.

thanks for sharing your beautimous work :)

Aymee,
I love all of your layouts. I like how you made your own ribbon, just with a border punch. The pleating was great and the leaves for the tree you did. Awesome job on all the layouts!!

I LOVE the WHOOOOOO LOVES YOU one!! I just got paper similar to that at J's yesterday...so can't wait to create with it. Mine was that new recycled paper pack from DCWV or whatever that company is...have you seen those?? Not sure if yours is the exact same or not...but LOVE it none the less!!

Those paper packs are 50 percent off right now at J's...they have a lot of different ones to pick from!!
